Vijayawada: Suspecting the hand of some highly influential persons in the State Government in the large-scale irregularities in the Group-1 exams, TDP supremo and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday demanded a CBI investigation to bring the facts to light and do justice to the youth.
Regretting that all the systems totally collapsed in these five-year YSRCP rule, he said in a statement that the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), a constitutional body, is no exception. Making the APPSC as a platform for political gains, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has deceived lakhs of youth by resorting to massive irregularities in the evaluation of Group-1 answer-sheets, Naidu alleged.
Demanding that the facts be made public as to why such massive irregularities have take place in conducting the mains exam of the Group-1 and the evaluation of the answer-sheets for the first time in the history of the APPSC, the TDP leader came down heavily on the State Government for resorting to deceptive methods in the name of digital evaluation and manual evaluation.
